Hello I’m Shirley, the face behind the lens!
I have been shooting for over 40-years but didn’t realize how much I loved photography until I became an empty-nester.
I began focusing on capturing rite of passages, milestones and vicariously reliving my children’s sports days and soon photography became my passion.
With every shoot, my prayer is that my photographs will bring joy, happiness and cherished memories to families over and over again.
If I had to sum up my philosophy on photography it would be:
“A photograph can be set up perfectly with composition, scale and lighting; however, if it doesn’t evoke an emotion… it’s just another picture.”
I truly believe that every photo should “speak” to you!!
